Ok, I am so tired of the car rattling, I have cover most exterior panels with brown bread, trunk and floor and in the car using rubberized undercoating, about a good 1/4 to 1/2 in some places...and the trunk still sound like a gorilla is trying to get out...The vehicle is a 98 civic coupe,   I am wondering If i am just not over the boundry of getting a quiet car anymore,   we are hitting 144.7 on the term lab, but we could easily use this car for sq as well..any suggestions?

I had the same problem with the same car and found that when I filled the trunk lid with MINIMUM expanding foam it stopped the rattle. Make sure you use the MINIMUM FOAM BECAUSE i KNOW SOMEONE WHO USED THE REGULAR FOAM AND IT BUCKLED THE LID.

im not getting to much from the interior, the panels have been sprayed on the inside with rubberized undercoating and thats not much of a problem besides the card is starting to creak and groan with age, I need to strip it all down again and replace all the clips I have forgotten to put back and broken   hehe..the trunk lid has alread been filled with foam, then covered with 1/2 inch of undercoating, then brownbread around all outerseal edges, I am half tempted to take off the factory wing and inject fiberglass resin into it to stiffen it because I know that get flimsy and vibrates like mad...I just dont know any more, I just noticed it but we shattered a tail light buld last night..if that starts being a common occurance I will be mad
