How would you know if the answer is right ? What I would do is bypass the OEM amplifier and run wires straight from the back of the Pioneer unit to the output side of the OEM amps. This sometimes works on some of the Bose systems, but not all of them. I have not had to do this on a Acura, but on some Caddy's this works well. It all depends on the input signal of the speaker's and also the input current of the OEM amplifier ( high or low current )

It was in one of his posts that got auto deleted, but I was able to see it before the forum auto deletes the post.

2) I was answering one of his other posts where he asked if there was a way to bypass the OEM amp. If he wants to use the OEM amp as well, then he has to find out what the input voltage is on the Bose system to see if the Pioneer unit is able to be used in this set up.

I have found the stock Bose in the Acuras to be fairly tolerant of speaker level inputs (Last Acura Bose I dealt with was in a 2003 RSX mind you, but it took the speaker outs of a Kenwood KVT-915 no problem). The other solution if it isn't working well (IE: common ground or too much signal) would be to use a floating adjustable interface such as the Scosche FAI series, PAC makes something, PIE probably makes something as well..... most likely a plug and play piece. The Bose in Honda products seems to behave differently input-wise than any of the GM Bose.... GM tends to use a signal ground coupled with a shield ground, with the shield ground being "lifted" at the amp end for better noise rejection.
