i recently bought a car with a jvc radio cassette head and 12 disk multi in the boot, but i already have a sony mini disk head unit (from my old car) which can operate a multi changer. does anybody know if it is possible to conect a sony head unit to a jvc 12 cd multi-changer,both head units have the same type of connector on the back. is it a comunication problem or can i swop a few wires over in the data lead to make it work

Try it and see what happens, but I believe there is a difference in software communications.

Pros Fantastic SQ and I hit 199 db with just one and my pyramid amplifier!
Cons It doesn't work that well when it explodes...
The Bottom Line It is the best ever! It is great for u and your friends to fool around with when ur bored at a party and u got one laying around!
| Full Review | I bought this woofer brand new at a garage sale. I really didn't buy it though, he gave me $5 to take it... Anyways i got home and i hooked it up to my audiophile hi quality pyramid amp and ran about 5000 Watts through it and it sounded great! Better than anything i have ever heard! The cone flew off and the driver caught fire and it was the best thing ever! I ended up duct taping it back on and bringing it back to the guy and saying, hey man whats the deal it don't work no more! He said, son, pyle audio doesn't work at all. If you got it to work once your a miracle worker! Ever since then i have upgraded to a beautiful thing called PYRAMID audio, and they make top notch crap man! I went to my local dealer and he said $35 for a 15". I nearly $hit a brick out. That is the most i have ever heard of spending on a subwoofer. So i gave him $35 and blew away my paycheck. I installed it in my cardboard enclosure and hooked up my pyramid amp to it and it cranked. It cranked so good that i entered into a local competition and i went up against a JL Audio W7, and my little pyramid whooped its a$$ ! It was well worth the investment, especially when i went home and plugged it into my wall socket. You wanna talk about XMAX? The thing exploded! It was great! Best waste of money i have ever made.

------------- "I don't play games. I play Nakamichi and that for real yo" - Probably some japanese kid said this in the early 80's trying to sell stereo out of his trunk lol.

Did you check with Metra Electronics? They have many types of modules and interfaces.
I hope they can help.
Good Luck,

although they both use a "uni-link" style connector i would be quite hesitant to plug one into the other without first ascertaining for sure that they are compatible ( i doubt if they are ).... and BTW, uthinkuknoaudio... this is not a forum for pimping products, this is a forum for giving and receiving advice...... ------------- Kevin Gerry
