i recently bought a car with a jvc radio cassette head and 12 disk multi in the boot, but i already have a sony mini disk head unit (from my old car) which can operate a multi changer.

does anybody know if it is possible to conect a sony head unit to a jvc 12 cd multi-changer,both head units have the same type of connector on the back.

is it a comunication problem or can i swop a few wires over in the data lead to make it work

Try it and see what happens, but I believe there is a difference in software communications.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

hey uthinkuknoaudio

if i wanted an advert i'd ask for one, what part of the concept of asking a specific question is it you don't understand!

Did you check with Metra Electronics? They have many types of modules and interfaces.

I hope they can help.
Good Luck,

although they both use a "uni-link" style connector i would be quite hesitant to plug one into the other without first ascertaining for sure that they are compatible ( i doubt if they are )....

and BTW, uthinkuknoaudio... this is not a forum for pimping products, this is a forum for giving and receiving advice......
