Can anyone give me a good amp to look up that meets the following requirements TRULY...  I am looking for an amp that will do about 80WRMS and about 140WPEAK x4 @ 4 ohms. Once again, x4, a 4 channel amp please. they will be running mids and highs and i want high quality running at as low as amperage as possible and still produce that power rating (<50) ... Distortion must be BELOW  0.09% (Nakamichi, Zapco, any other high end ones US AMPS)... Let me know.

Here are three I've used very successfully in SQ competition:  McIntosh MCC404; Nakamichi PA2004; Planet Audio PA400.4.  I'm sure there are many other very clean amps out there.  Check Eclipse, Zapco, etc.

Also check out some older PPI amps like the Art series, or anything from PhoenixGold.

Francious70, you were speaking of old Phoenix Gold right?

Just so everyone does'nt suddenly run out to their local Circuit City and buy up some PG amp's for their SQ setup's

When they start building Mcintosh in China, I'm outta here
