I have a set of audiobahn components. abc6003q to be exact. Anyways, looking at the wires they gave me, the tweeter wire were very short. Maybe 16 inches. Is there a reason they are that short? The component set came with crossovers also if that makes a difference. Thanks alot.

Steve

Tweeter leads are often short.  Simply connect longer wire if necessary.  Read your manual and see the page called, "Installation Primer" at https://www.bcae1.com/ for more information about splicing wire together, soldering, and the like.

I planned on using longer wire. Just wondering if there was a reason that they were given to me so short. The rest of the wires are more than long enough. Just seemed strange that they were so short unless there was a reason I didn't know about.

Feel lucky, a lot of component makers don't include speaker wire.

well most of the time the tweeter is just going to hook to the crossover and so will the woofer 5 or 6 inch driver then seprate wire will be ran to the amp or radio

The reason the wires are so short is because it's best to keep the woofer and the tweeter in close proximity of each other as to not create imaging problems.
