Hey.....Can someone please tell me why a amp blows the fuse every time you put one in??

wow, thats a question that begs for more information, what led it to blow the fuse the first time, whats the amp model and make, who installed it and what is it running and is the car on or off when the fuse blows.

Is your power wire grounded out? That would be the first thing to check. -------------

The amp is a Autotek Model 60MXi Mean Machine Amplifier that has been sitting for about two years! It worked when I last used it!

make sure it is properly grounded, fused within 3" of the battery, un hook all speakers and rca's try to turn it on then and see what happens and like always look over all your wires amke sure they are in the right place
