Hey guy's i was wondering about measuring the voltage ( AC ) I believe coming off the output on an amplifier. Can this be done with a multimeter set on AC voltage. If so with no load present would it be correct to assume if a reading of 60 volt's was measured ( would this mean approx. 1100 watts or so ). Any comment would be appreciated. Thank's SPL-Hz

You will have to read the output with a load present. The AC voltage will vary over the different frequencies played, thus will be easiest to look for and read the peak voltage output.
Power = V^2 / R
It would be easier to run a SPL type CD and play a Sine Wave track, this will make your output voltage a lot more steady, and easier to read.
