Guys,
I am thinking of getting this amp:
Xtreme Amplifiers:
Type: Mono Block
Model: 1500X
Max Power: 500watts
Rated @ 4 Ohms(WRMS): 150X1
Rated @ 2 Ohms(WRMS): 250X1
S/N Ratio: 90dB
Freq. Response: 20Hz-20KHz +/- 1dB
Damping Factor >50
Input Sensitivity: 200mVV-4V
CrossOver type: Varible 12dB low-pass
Bass EQ: Switched, +6/+12dB @ 50Hz
Protection: T, S, R ,L
And this is my subs:
2 12" Kicker EX1204 SVC 125WRMS each @ 4 Ohms.

Please tell me ASSP whether this is good amp or not???

Thanks a lot guys :)

yeah the brand is called" Exreme Amplifiers 1500X, so from looking at the specs it's a good am right?
Will 2 Ohms hit harder compared with 4 Ohms????

this girl i know has an xtreme amp, only person i know with one.

the specs match, i dont know what kind of quality these amps are built with, so i cant say yeh it'll be just as good as something else with the same specs. can you test the amp? or is it over ebay?

2Ohms will almost double the amount of watts going to your subs compared to 4ohms, the difference in sound?
without experiance in using both loads, i'd say 2ohms will be louder, and the quality will be less; bass will not hit as tight as it would with 4ohm, but if your not that picky about SQ then i dont know what you'd notice. someone else could probably explain the differences better than I.

Xtreame is made by Precision Power I think...same compant that makes Orion. One of the shops in my area sells them. They are a entry level item, for them compared tp Orion, Memphis and Eclipse stuff they carry.

Yes, Xtreme is made by Directed and is an entry level brand.  "Street Edge" was a product line made by Memphis.  Are they spinning it off on its own?  Hmm, I hadn't heard that.  Fultron is no more, by the way, as Arthur Fulmer officially changed the company's name to Memphis Audio 10 years ago...
