Is anyone familiar with this series? I know they are the lower end JL, but I'd imagine they are still decent quality amps. I' m trying to decide if I should get one of this series amp and new components, or would I be better off getting the "slash" series and holding off on the speakers. I know I will be getting the JL XR650-CSi's, it's just a matter of when. Thanks for the opinions!

i have an eseries monoblock. i have not tried it on my compnents for obvious reasons, but i think it is one of the cleanest lower priced amps i have heard for a sub. what components are you getting?

I'm most likely getting JL Audio XR650-CSi's, although I'm still looking at Focal Poly Kevlar components.

definately go with the focals. the xrs dont even come close to sounding as good as the focals in my opinion. if you are getting the jls, the the e series amp will be more than fine
