Hello everybody, this is my first post and I needed some help installing an amp/sub to a stock head unit.

The car is a 95' Nissan 240sx, which carries an oem amplifier that powers the front and rear speakers.

Anyway, I first ran the remote turn on wire and rca's on the left side of the car. I spliced and soldered the remote turn on wire to the accessory line, which is colored blue. The power wire is on the opposite side.

The line output converter is spliced into the rear speakers. The left 6x9 positive and negative is colored light green and purple. The right 6x9 is colored blue and purple. I then connected the rca's from the amplifier to the line output converter

The amplifier turns on just fine because the light turns on on the amplifier.

My problem is that there is no response from the subwoofer at all.

Can anybody help>? thanks you guys

Ground the LOC. There should be a wire comming from the LOC that is an optional ground. It helps to cancel out the power and create the low level signal that RCA's carry.

Oh okay, thanks for your help. Hmm, actually there are two pink or dark magenta wires that are comming out from it. What do I do with those? are those two wires the ground wires?
