hi guys,

i just purchased an eclipse cd8053 and was dazzled at the number of output connections.

can ne1 tell me why there are two sets of rca cables?  It has red(+) front, rear and low = 3 pairs

plus it has the same in black (-) front, rear and low 3 more pairs, then another pair direct out and two more pairs and extra pairs of RCAs.  Are the red and black duplicates??

tia!

Your owner's manual should fully describe this and how to use them.

Just use the RED+ positive cables.

The owners manual is not that clear on this, in fact they had to add an adendum to the original book because the diagram was wrong. The 6 pairs {Hi, Mid, Low>RED+} {Hi, Mid, Low>BLACK-} are only used when you run  Balanced lines to the Balanced Line Adapter in Pro Mode.

If you are running in standard mode just follow the markings on the cable.
