hey, i got a amplifier that is only the circuit board,, i was wondering if any knew what i kind of material i could use to make a heatsink to attach to the amplifier?? like aluminum strips or something like that?? thanks

Aluminum disapates heat pretty good. I would think you need access to metal fab tools like a mig/tig welder , a break , a grinder and so on.

You can purchase ready-made aluminum heat sinks quite easely. Digikey has some. Aluminum is the material of choice although copper conducts heat better but is difficult to machine and tarnishes quickly. Basically most every heat sink is aluminum.
