Yesterday, I heard some Alumapro subs in prefabricated bandpass enclousures. I was amazed at the quality. Even the 8inch sub was so good, I am considering selling my 11 inch Focal Utopia 27Wx for it. Has anyone tried either or both of these and can give me some tips on which is better/worse? ANy experienced ones with both?
I will probably be selling my Focal 27wx unless proven wrong. Thanks.

i think before chucking the sub you should rethink the type of box your using, its a cheaper alternative and may produce results your looking for, you'll have to make one for your next sub anyways ;/

Sell the focal, and get the Alchemy RX sub from alumapro. They hit way way harder than the focals and maintain the same extraordinary SQ all the way throughout excursion. I love alumapro equipment. Your right on the 8'' as well. They make an Alusonic 8'' that will take your breath away in the right enclosure. Good luck with your project!
