If you had the choice between the Alpine MRD-M500 and the Alpine MRV-1507, which one would you choose if they were the same price? Then, what if the MRV-1507 was $100 more? It will be running 2 alpine type-r DVC 12's.

They both run 2 ohm ( MINIMUM ) but I agree with Zezzar... the 1507 is much more amplifier than the 500 MRD.

Should I get a new alternator?  i am going to be running the 1507 with a mrv-f407 and i have 2 farad caps.   I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee if that helps.

ill say you be ok if  use 1507 for bass and turn of the eq built in just qeep the lp onposted_image
