A few years ago an installer I worked with had this way cool phase tester.  It had a pos and neg lead, and when applied to a set of speaker wires, it would make the speaker start pulsing, and after a couple of seconds would tell you whether or not you had the leads connected properly.  I don't know who made it or where he got it, but if anyone has any ideas, that'd be great.  I'm just really getting tired of using a battery to check the phase, especially knowing theres a quicker, easier tool out there.

Thanks for responding, but those aren't what I'm looking for.  The one I've used before was only one unit.  The leads on it made the speaker pulse, and it had a small microphone that some how could tell which way the speaker was moving.  It was smaller than a DMM.  I don't even know if these things are made anymore.  Anyone else have any ideas?
