Sorry to start such a heated debate, but what would you guys say is the better sub for SQ?

Im not going to get into how happy I am with my eclipse's I havent tried to TDX yet, I have tried the jl w6v2 and I know my aluminums put the w6v2 to shame in SQ and SPL

When you line up several subwoofers of this caliber it comes down to personal preference. If your looking for some consensus, I dont think you'll find it. Will one of these do something better then the other, probably. Will the other make up for it in some other way, almost surely. The key is to find the one that suites your needs. When you are spending this kind of money on a subwoofer - dont feel bad about taking up the salespersons time listening and asking questions. I would not spend that kind of cash without evaluating all the potential subs and narrowing it down, then listening again.
Anyways, Im a JL guy so my opinion is bias. However, the w7 is a great subwoofer and you could hardly go wrong with one. I have not heard those Eclipse subs, but I have heard other aluminum cone Eclipse's and they are sweet. Diamond holds a good reputation, but im not sure i have heard one in recent memory.
