A friend of mines gave me an alpine iva 800. He said it works all it needs is a brain I just want to know if it only work with the iva 800 brain or can I use the iva 1000,1005,006 or any other brain for that matter.

i should only work with the 800 brain, , , im shure its going to be hard to find a cheep used one tho.
