I'm getting a 2005 Honda Pilot, and I want to upgrade the stereo system in it (better CD changer, more speakers, etc.). If I look on the website of the major car audio retailers, they say there aren't any that fit. It looks the same as a 2004, and I would think there should be something that fits! I'm assuming there's an adapter, but is there some other space consideration I'm not understanding?
Thanks.

As far as I know, the only things that have changed are the available in dash 6-disc and available XM. Some websites may not list the vehicle as they have yet to update information.

I know that Honda offers the in dash 6-disc CD, but I want a larger choice than that. I guess my question is, can I get a Sony, Pioneer, Alpine or whatever and have it fit in the HOnda?
Thanks!!

Ya, I did a new Pilot a couple weeks ago and you just need a dash kit and a harness, its the same dash kit as what the 04 uses. You are simply a victim of outdated data systems.
