can anyoen tell me what the mtx thudner 8500 series compares to as far as spl and sq

uh... 9500 is louder louder and louder.  As far as sq I can't tell you too much on that but I know the 9500 is louder.

They dont sound bad, but they definatly arent a sub for a sq system. I mean I have seen far worse for the money, but there is better out there for sq. As far as SPL goes, I think its awsome. I havent found anything dollar for dollar yet that beats it, however I have never heard a brahma and I understand they are quite an amazing sub.

not to side track your thread or anything. but on the topic of MTX thunders; a friend of mine is looking at an old-school MTX Blue Thunder (maybe, could be wrong). if im right with that sub, what are these subs like spl/sq/ general performance and reliability. chances are he'll want help installing it and what not so i thought i'd get some information on the sub.

any opinions on this sub would be appreciated
