ok i got a 1979 cabri i need advice on makeing a hidden enclosure that rotates. meaning that the speakers are faced down not visible to anyone when car is not on but when the car is on i want it to go up and have it all do it  by its self, now lets see if anyone can help me

Rotation is hard.  It would be much easier to devise a sliding cover for the enclosure.  Mount it with the speakers facing "up."  Include a track or groove along the top and bottom of the front baffle and a install a solid or accordian-style cover (think of a window shade) that can slide over the speakers, hiding them.  Connect the sliding cover to a 12V linear actuator and activate this with a relay triggered by your remote on wire.  Have fun.

Don't take offense, but if that was chiberish too you, then you should take your idea to the best quality audio shop in your area and get the work done there.

no joke steve..I would go the same route, A rotation on something that heavy would be extreamly hard.   I would look into a automatic cover

that was what i was thinking i got two 18 inch 4000 watt speakers customed made with a couple amps and now i am tearing apart my trunk and installs a full size enclosure that lifts the speakers above the enclosure so you can see them when my car turns off they go down and a cover slides over them

speakers custom made by whom if I may ask? and have they ever made a car audio sub before...I have found that crossing the home audio to car audio boundries are alot diffrent
