Is it necessary to hook up the speaker level input wires to my head unit if I am not using the OEM speakers?  If so what exactly do they do?  The amp is a MTX 404

never mind I didnt fully read the manual that came with the amp, I have rca outputs on the head unit no need for the speaker level wires
