18w3 vs. 13w7 vs. 12w7

OK Im looking to switch my current system (2 15w0s in a fourth order bandpass) to something a little different.  Now my plan for a little while would be to have another bandpass for two 18w3s, however when searching around I found that through ebay you can get 12w7s for about the same price, or 13w7s for a little more (would be willing to do it).  Now I know this isnt apples to apples since one is from a reputable authorized jl dealer who I work with often, and the other is ebay, but a bargain is still a bargain.  It will be powered off a fosgate 1001bd if its the w3s, the w7s I can trade and spend a little for a jl 1000/1.  Now it will be for my daily driver (99 ford expedition) and so a good amount of sq needs to be retained (not that it can sound too good with all of the vibration it gives the car), however I will be doing some small competition, so I hope to hit some decent numbers (not to mention just for bragging rights).  What would everyone recommend?  18w3s in a bandpass, w7s in a sealed or bandpass? any opinions would be appreciated, I know these are all great drivers and pretty hard to go wrong with.

My local car audio shop handles jl and they sound great if that is what you want I would go with the 13w7 in a ported box. have you thought about fosgate we handle fosgate to and the power series will blow jl out of the water in sq and spl.get 12 stage 1 or 2 power series and you will bring n great numbers. I have a 95 cavalier with 1 punch stage 3 in a fosgate ported box and Im getting 135 db. If I was competing I would go with 2 12 power stage 2 and walk out with a win. most of the time.
