I decided to have a little fun and create this one virtually in Inventor first. The toughest part was getting the RE8 to be detailed and to scale. Let's just say it took a while to do...

I decided to use stevdart's suggestion for enclosure volume since it looked pretty nice in the WinISD simulation.

basic enclosure - 0.583 ft^3
subwoofer frustum volume - 0.0571 ft^3
port volume - 0.0564 ft^3
-----------------------------
total volume - 0.6975 ft^3

In reality the enclosure will be slightly smaller than this as I rounded the dimension of the box width by a couple hundredths of an inch making for a nice easy measurement on the tape measure.

I'm in the process of drawing out my amp (RF 300.1 monoblocker) with the intention of adding it into the final design. Stay tuned...

Excellent (and a tremendous amount of) work... Well done!

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
