my back deck in my 94 accord that is. Whats the general consensus for resolving this problem? It looks like there is a 1/4" piece of fiber board w/ some carpet then the metal trunk structure. The majority of the movement comes from area against the window near the tail light. What are my options or solutions, I like easy solutions...

A good installation of sound damping on the deck sheet metal should stop the noise. The fiberboard wouldn't vibrate if the sheet metal didn't vibrate.

Cut the thing out!!...J/K.....Apying sound dampening or take a piece of MDF and cut it to fit and attach it to the thing to stiffin it so it doesnt vibrate....

But for over all easiness....Dynomat or some other sound dampening material should do the trick...

If not then take the good ole Saws-all to to and just remove the rattle posted_image

dont freakin cut out your rear deck, unless you weld a cross member of some sort in, it will take away from the structural integrity of the vehicle...
