I have a Lightning Audio amp... 300.2A or something like that, and when I power it up it doesnt stay powered on. It just goes on for a couple seconds, then shuts off. The "Protection" light turns on, but then it turns off afterwards. Any tips or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well new amps carry short, overload and overheat protection. What are you using the amp for. Trying to bridge it into 1 channel with 2 subs. If you wire them up to parallel you will probably drop the load to 2 ohms or lower which most amps cannot handle. Hit me back when you have more info on your application.

Unhook the subs and see if it still go's into protection.. If it don't then you must have to low of a impedance with your sub configuration.
