yellow top, you can get it at any local car audio shop, or battery store cost around 140, It is a deep cycle battery will take deep discharges with no problem and will make everything in your electrical system feel like it has been revived.. kind of like taking your wife to a day spa.  I live in alaska my battery sees -60 all the time, If your worried about a battery getting to cold, go and get a battery warmer for about 20.00 and when it get cold plug your vehicle in.

I have always had good experiences with the optima batteries, red, yellow, or blue.

They all have different purposes...red is for off road vehicles...yellow if for high current vehicles..and blue are for boats.

i used both optime and orbital in my car stereo applications. i like the yellow top personally.

i believe the red top is a good under the hood starting battery. no experience with the blue though.

I went with the orbital extreme today, its really nice.  You can put up to 8 battery posts on it.  And it has some triple release valve thingy so if the pressure inside gets too high from over chargeing it will burp  and seal back up.  Pretty cool stuff.
