I have a kenwood kac-929 amplifier that puts out 460watts at 4 ohms and I don't think it is 2 ohm stable at one channel.  But I have an audiobahn awt10x that is dual 1ohm and run in series I can have a 2 ohm load.  I had this amp running it before and had no problems.  I am looking to sell this amp and get a new one that matches up better to the 1000watt rms rating.  Will this be a problem running a 2ohm sub off a 4 ohm channel amp??

Just buy a 2-ohm stable mono amp... What was your question?

It will be a little hard on the amp, especially if you listen to it loud.  Just get real amp.

...That would indicate that the amp is stable at that load.
