Where can I buy 4" to 6.5" speaker adapters online for a 1985 lincoln town car?

Go to ebay and search for the seller "mjmautoinnovations". They list all kinds of speaker adapters. Their plates are well made, priced reasonable and shipped fast.

Or grab some MDF and a jigsaw / router and make your own.

Good tip on this one, funnycar. Looks like a good source. It would cost me twice as much in swear words trying to make my own adapters!
