i have a pioneer DEH-p6500 HU and i need to know if i can get a portable MP3 player to work through the AUX input. Reading the manual it says it puts the aux into rca's, and i have a connector from my computer speaker system that puts rca to headphone style jack- to connect the mp3.
First off...is what im thinking right? Secondly....where can i get the aux cable input line connector thingy.lol Its a year maybe two year old model.

I cant remember the exact model number but its just a piece you can buy from pioneer thats about 50 bucks canadian. Most authorized dealers should be able to get it for you. And then you just use your mini jack to rca cable that you have to hook into pioneer adapter. I just did this on my car board on saturday to hook an omnifi to a pioneer dehp7600mp, worked great.

Pioneers input adapter should be CD-RB10 or CD-RB20. If you can get ahold of just a changer cable you can build your own input adapter, that is if you can still activate aux through a menu.
