all i ahve is a 1200w sony sub.it has bare wire connections on it 4 speaker cable.my bro has a cd head unit with a cd changer in the boot.how do i get this sub to work with his kit?

You need an amp and an amp wiring kit, not to mention a box. Dont know if you were planning on not spending any money to get this done, look around at some of the basics on this website and do a little research before you just plug it right in. You CAN wire it to the rear speakers and just mount it in the rear deck, but I would strongly recommend against this, that sub isnt gonna be made for free air, and it would sound like absolute crap being powered off your deck.
