Personally I like Kenwood Excelon. I have never had any problems with them and they have the features that I actually use.

I'll stick with Pioneer. They may not be the best out there, but they're my favorite.

I'm not too surprised, but still... I thought there'd be a few sony fans out there.

That sux that Nakamichi isn't an option. I voted for Alpine, as i have always loved them. Eclipse makes a good HU, but i don't really consider it user friendly... neither do i a nak, but i just don't like them as much as Alpines for some reason. Its just wierd like that.
------------- "I don't play games. I play Nakamichi and that for real yo" - Probably some japanese kid said this in the early 80's trying to sell stereo out of his trunk lol.

I've had a sony HU for 4 years now so it's all I've ever dealt with, never given me any troubles. However, the power is waaay overrated, and if I could afford it I'd jump off the sony bandwagon so fast...

i would have to say my fav altime is actually the sony cdx-c90. even by itself its a performer, but add the processor and whew! of course this unit hasnt been in production for a few. just a side note, i got a peek at the 2005 sony lineup and the headunits are reminiscent of the mobile es line of yesteryear. currently my fav unit is kenwood excelon, theres not a better value in a high performance unit that balances cosmetics and functionality w/ sq ------------- MECP certified, 5yrs experience, you probably otta listen bitch!!
