Had installed one of these dash kits this summer. Winter is now here and i've found that the defrost switch in it isn't working. I saw another post here about a 04 taurus and the defrost switch and a "regrounding" procedure that was in the manual. The manual that came with my kit was a 2 page deal with nothing like this.

Anyone explain what this regrounding is so i can get my defrost working?

Take the black wire in the aftermarket defroster switch and cut it. Extend the wire coming out of the switch and connect it to the ground on the radio.
