2 feet is plenty of space .....specially if its power just for a sub amp (no mids and highs) that where ya get noise problems. If the cables are run down the car in a "channel'" together with the power cable.  In the future just try and get them as far apart as possible.

Have fun

It depends on how good your RCA's are if you can have them that close... I have always kept my RCA's on the opposite side of the vehicle from the power. It's just one less thing you have to worry about. You can find plenty of resources on this website for installing amps correctly. Crutchfield also has some good advice on their website.

I would seperate the RCA's and speaker wires as far away as you can from the power.

so my best method since my firewall hole is on the right side of the car and the power wiring is running this way is to run the 4 guage on the right side of the car and run the rcas along the left side right ?

Bare minimum of 18 inches is usually the rule, other side of the car is best.
