I am installing a Line Output Converter on an 04 Ranger and I am trying to determine wheter or not I wire the negatives to the ground or wire them each as + and - to the terminals.

Also, can someone tell me where to hook up the remote lead wire for the amps? The database for 2000 says to use the Blue wire, which the 04 doesn't seem to have.

Thanks!

The speaker inputs on your converter need to be hooked up to speaker leval  outputs from your radio both pos and neg to their proper wires  not to chassis ground.....to speaker ground!

As far as the remote amp turn on, hook it to ignition controlled 12volts   How many amplifiers are you gonna try and turn on?   you might need to wire up a relay to turn'em on if theres toooooo much current draw

On a relay you would put a fused 12 volt connection to pin 87 ground to pin 86 take your ign. controlled 12 volts to pin 85    pin 30 becomes your remote turn on connection  get the 12 volts your gonna put to pin 87 from your fuse box there are allways extra unused terminals
