I have a Alpine 9811 unit on my car, It's already hooked up and all but I got a question on a wire that I have no idea what it is for, its a pink wire, the instruction manual calls it a "Audio Interrupt In", it doesnt say much more than that? so what is this wire for?

It probably is some sort of mute wire. If you had a cell phone hooked up it would mute the audio when you are on the phone, or when it rings.

That wire is used to mute the head unit when its connected to a cell phone and you receive a call.
