Guys,

What battery do you guys recommend to replace my cheap factory battery with? I have heard Optima is pretty good are there any others out there?

I have always used the optima the red top or yellow top will do great I would go yellow top, will not crap out if it get discharged to low

I realy like the gel cell batterys or kenitik cap killers.   I have heard and seen some amazing stuff done with these.     What type of alternator are you running?

I just put an optima yellow top in my car yesterday. I'm pretty happy with it.

Again the alternator is the first step to the charging system, if you dont start there you are pobably looking inot dissapointment

I have a 130 amp alternator which is plenty...We have less amp alternators then that on our Semi's that run coolers, fridges, microwaves and whatever else the driver has..I don't get into the you need a bigger alternator thing.. If  I had a 90amp alt then I would worry...
