ive been told that the old v1 style of the w6 is power hungry. The coils are rated at 300. i have a 350 watt @ 2ohms monoblock...............would that move it? or would it be wanting more??

It would want more it still will move it but not to potential, I have 2 jl 12w6's v1 with a jl 1000 watt amp aounded ok, but replaced them with one fosgate p3 in the fosgate ported box (pl3) dual 2 ohm into a kenwood 811d @ 1ohm and it sound twice as good, I would try a alpine type s with that amp or even a infinity kappa perfect
