According to the guys at Eclipse, who I spoke with at GREAT lengths last year at the CES, that amp will do about 1200 real-world watts at 4 ohms, pretty close to the rated 2000 at 2 ohms, but it WILL NOT run 1 ohm. Those are the numbers - right from the horse's mouth, I have the DA7232 running one Titanium 12, and that amp is essentially two 7122s in one chassis, and this amp makes that 12 jump out of it's basket - it is running 4 ohms per channel, stereo, it is NOT a bridgeable amplifier. One thing you MUST make certain of? Make sure you have POWER for that amplifier. If you are running 2000 watts out, the efficiency of the amp is about 92% so you have 2000w/.92/14.4v = about 150 amps... Grounds are EXTREMELY important when using this kind of current!

so im guessing the DA6213 puts close to 700w RMS at 4ohm bridged? it says 1100w max or 500w x2 max at 2ohm.. im curious if they are bridgeable to 2ohm.. man eclipse product information is so damn confusing

Xclusivex, yeah, that'd be pretty close - 700 watts bridged to an 8 ohm load would be the 700 watts, the 1100 watt rating is bridged to a 4 ohm load... NONE of the Eclipse amps are rated into one ohm loads, at least none that I have seen.

Lizardking, I knew you'd love that amp!

Thanks for the help, but i think im going to go with Zapco Referance series, less confusing and the symblink balanced input sounds really appealing
