I just got my M6 diamonds installed in my 94 accord today and all was going well everything sounded amazing, then the left tweeter cut out.... i scratched my head and took it out and looked at it and was confused because when it cut out the car was completley stopped and i was just sitting there in my garage listening to music... hmm.. to my even further confusement .. the tweeter was still working but just VERY very quiet. So i started tapping on it gently then i tapped it again to see if something was loose...hmmm Then i realized i actually had to put these tweeters through some decent force to get them where they are in the dashboard... maybe i broke it? is there any way to check this stuff out?? Is anyone selling one diamond m6 tweeter?? ;)

i think you will have to replace the tweeter, make sure you have a cross over on these to keep low frequencies out of the tweeter and keep high watts away from these. if you put to much power to a tweeter this will happen

Have you checked all of your connections to find out if it is a loose wire? Cover all of your bases before you start replacing things.

If they are new it sounds like warranty replacement.  If your system is set up right and you did not abuse your speakers morst companies will replace the speaker for free.

If you cannot get ahold of Diamond, contact one of their local dealers off of their website and request info on how to obtain another tweeter. If that doesn't work, ebay is your best friend.

I don't know if this is relevant but my Diamond Hex left tweeter continually cut out while I was driving after I first installed it. I checked all the connections - no problems there. Made sure the crossovers were right, head unit, everything... It was strange because the wires were already all there from my Diamond M3s, I was just upgrading. Um.. anyway, the problem just fixed itself after a week.. odd

But I'm so happy with Diamond for sending a brand new M6MKII sub all the way to the UK because I blew my last one. I couldn't believe it. If its under warranty then you should give them a call and see if they can help. Good luck

Diamond is a good brand, so they should be very customer compliant and send you a new tweeter if you have all your papers... That is wierd tomos, but interesting...
