I just installed a new system in my car. Its a 69 oldsmobile Torando. Mint condition. Im running 2 15 inch elcipse dvc subs off a jbl 1200.bp 1 amp. It sounds good but when i turn it up even half way it sounds like two horses are kicking my trunk open. I know everybody is gonna say dynomat the trunk but the car is in mint conditon with only 45000 miles so im not gonna do that unless its my last resort. Any ideas?

try pointing out each rattle and tighten it down, this will only go so far without and dynomat or rubber coating in the truck the bass will rattle the heck out of a truck

how is it mint if there is a box with two 15" sub in the trunk? that wasnt a factory option. i'd just dynamat it and if you want it to look nice, carpet over the mat (or mat under the existing carpet).
