On the back of my HU there are 3 sets of rca outputs. One being sub output, rear output, front output. I am running a sub amp and a memphis amp to run the 4 speakers. should i have 3 20ft long rca cables running from the back of my head unit to the back of the car where both amps are? Or should I just run one rca cable from the HU to the back of the car then Y split it into 2 cables? What should i do. I want best sound as possible. Thankyou

Run all three sets of RCA's... That deck allows fading, balance, and a dedicated subwoofer volume control. If you run one RCA, you will be losing all of the flexibility you paid for in that deck.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

My power wire runs through the fire wall right next to the gas pedal and runs on the left side of the car. I cant find a path for the rca cables to run through behind the right side of the dash because of the glove compartment and the air bag being in the way. So I ran the single rca cable inside a cupholder in the dash, than ran it for about 2 inches out of the cupholder to where anyone can see it inside the car and down to the right side of the car. I wanted to know if i could run the rca cables behind the dash on the left side and then come through an air vent on the floor I figured out, then under the carpet at the foot of the passenger side. When i complete this process the rca cables will be about 6 inches away from the power cable right when the rca cable gets near the firewall. Will there be any sound problems when having only about 1 inch of the rca cable 6 inches away from the power wire? I know this might be hard to understand but i can explain it in more detail if neccessary. Thankyou

Here's an idea: run it down, behind the radio, behind the carpet (not in the dash), back around to the right side.  It sounds like you're going about this all the hard way.

PS: My power and RCA's are all run together 10 feet and I've had no problem (noise) for years, but I only did it because nothing was long enough to run along another path without being an eyesore (over the carpet).
