I Drilled a kicker solo baric into a sqaure hole...
put some power to the sub and as it increased the sub started to jump out the box....
Granted I did use 2 different types of screws because I didn't have many...but
My question is did I f**k up the box with the holes already ... Tweeter etc. told me that
the holes could be used as a pilot hole for a bigger screw...tomorrow I'll pay them to fix it...
Any advice....did I really f**k up or could it be fixed..

Use a thicker screw, use all the holes and if the screws are ripping out of the box, then make the front baffle board thicker. By the sounds of it you have the sub mounted to 1/2" mdf and no doubt they will rip out when enough power is applied.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
I use Nutplates and Machine screws.
the nutplates Dig into the wood as you tighten the screws.
You can get them at Lowes, Home Depot, or any Cabinet Shop.
