Can you take two bridged channels and y connect them into your subwoofer for added wattage?    Like i have a 4 channel amp, it can be bridged into two channels altogether or more. But i have this kove sub that i need all the watts this amp can put out altogether, so instead of just bridging just two channels into one channel - into the sub.. i wondered if i could bridge all 4 (y) the wires into the dual voice coils on my sub...... like heres an example:

1-2-3-4    5-6-7-8  = wire 1 and 2 for a bridge   wire 5 and 8 for 2nd bridge, then connect the Plus 1 with plus 5 and connect that to the plus on sub ... the same for the negative.. connect -2 with -8 with the - side on sub.. is this possible of just asking to blow my sub up instead???

You are asking for trouble, but you can do it with a DVC sub...as long as each coil is rated at 4 ohms.  And the amp has to be bridgeable.  Bridge one coil to channels 1 and 2, the other coil to the 3 and 4 channels.  If the amp is not diagramed for bridging, stop and consult the manual.  Split your RCA input connections so that each coil is getting the same input.  And set the gains by meter to be as close to each other in output as possible.

If the sub is DVC 2 ohms, get another amp.  Post the models and ratings of the equipment before other responses, please.

So are you trying to take a 4 channel amp and bridge it to power 1 subwoofer? The only way it would be possible is if it was a DVC subwoofer. You can run 1 coil (+ and - terminals) to 1 bridged channel and the same with the other coil. That is the only way i can see it working.

the sub is 4 ohms dvc, the amp is bridgeable, it has the wiring diagram for bridging the channels.. the amp is 2ohms stable

then yes.   You can wire a bridged channel to each coil.   You will want to make sure to use a Ditigal Multi Meter to have your gains set dead accuratly to each other
