im trying to find the best setting for my gain, eq, and frequency.....i know that for gain you set the volume to the highest you would listen to it at and turn the gain up till it distorts and then turn it down a little.....now with my eq, and frequency settings on my amp do i do the same....also which order should i do them in....

first off is this for subs? what amp is it? if it is for subs you will more than likely want to set your freq. at about 45, the eq kind of equates to more "boom" in the speakers, but this will make your amp run hotter though so use it sparingly.

Well most of info was quoted from the mtx guys, I am running a MTX 1000d, so its really similar, the freq. knob about half way , unless they put some markings... or call MTX they are pretty helpful.
