Using a clean signal from a Nackamichi CDR400 headunit, will it work to power the system with a Hifonics series VIII Jupiter 35x4 @ 4 ohms, 60x4 @ 2 ohms, 120x2 @ 4 ohms bridged...
Power the front a/d/s 6.5 components with front channels, power the rear 5.25 coaxials with deck power, and use the other two channels bridged to a small alumapro 10" in a sealed enclosure?
Alumapro........AWSOME, A GREAT sub for a small enclosure.
Typically, anything Hifonics....is GOOD It's been a while! though!

I have a 12" SVC 4 ohm, but may get a new 10" alusonic SVC 4 OHM or DVC 4ohm (2 ohm drive). The 12" works fine but I would really like a smaller enclosure.
I am either going to buy a new 5 channel amp (5th channel to power the DVC @ 2 ohms) or try to use the Hifonics I already have. In addition to the Jupiter (specs above) I have a series VIII Odin (75x2 @ 4 ohms, 240 x 1 @ 4 ohms). Both of those amps together suck more current than I think I can give away in new car. I am trying to think through as many options as I can before I move forward or spend more money...
I have a SVC 12" 4 ohm alumapro alusonic which works fine, but was considering buying a 10" alusonic 4 ohm or DVC 4 ohm (2 ohm drive) to use a smaller enclosure (1.18 vol vs. .65-.75 vol).
If I cannot come up with a better solution, I will be buying a new 5 channel amp to power all and probably run 2 ohms to DVC sub. In addition to Jupiter (specs above), I have a series VIII Odin (75x2 @ 4 ohms, 240x1 @ 4 ohms bridged). I am pretty certain that I do not have the current to run both amps in this application, and I am not going to add another battery. I am just trying to think through as many options as I can before making a move or spending more money.
