       My Tiburon came with an Infinity system 2 front, 2 tweeters, 2 rear & a subwoofer.  It came with a stock amp.  I wanted to run a separate amp for the sub and leave the stock amp to run the other 6 speakers.  Do I have to run a new power cable to the battery or can I tap into the the one that connects to the stock amp?

Use a new 8 gauge wire for the new amplifier. The wires on the OEM amps are small and can not handle the extra load of an aftermarket amp.
