Trying to install a amp to the factory radio.Which way to do run the amp remote wire to??what can I use to take the radio out.Don't have ford radio removal tool.Thanx for the info

You may not have to take out the radio.  Look in the trunk, antenna side.  Pull away the carpeted trunk liner and you should see the radio tuner/amp.  The speaker wires are plugged into it (for hookup  to your LOC).  There will most likely also be a 12V switched wire near the antenna wire, probe with a meter to find the right wire.  You can connect the remote there instead of running it under the dash.  And if you decide that you must remove the radio, you can pick up a set of Ford removel tools at Walmart or just about anywhere fine car audio is sold.

stevdart is bang on in saying to just tap into the tuner pack in the back, far easier. Remeber that the factory deck wont have RCA jacks on it. Also to remove a ford deck you just need 4 stiff pieces of metal to stick in the holes, like allan keys or small screwdrivers. once you have them in place you just push the tips towards the outside ond slide the deck out. Not the right way to do it but will work when you are in a pinch.
