I posted something earlier about 4 subs to 1 2channel amp, but that would only leave me with 400 max watts per sub. I want to get the same amp and run both amps in stereo. I want to hook 2 subs per amp. My main question is how to install both amps together for what i want. I dont know how to wire them. (They will both be 1600 watt amps.) I want to upgrade my wires from 8 ga. to 4 ga. too. What all will I need to install and how do I wire it all together. Once again, pictures will greatly help out. Thanks everyone.

It helps a lot to post the models/ ratings of the equipment you are using.
the subs I'm using are Audiobahn dual 4 ohm voice coils and run 400 watts rms/800 max. The amp specs are as follows:

Coils are wired in series and subs are paralleled for a 4 ohm bridged load onto each amp. Your inputs are best like this: L and R RCA's are inputted to the first amp. Use that amp's line output feature to run a set of RCA's to the second amp...and each amp gets the same L, R signals....that is, you are better off doing this than running left to one amp and right to the other. You'll have the most powerful sub response when all of them are playing the same output.

There is a great number of power distribution blocks for splitting power to separate amps. The power (you are using 2 gauge for main power wire?) is fused close to the battery with a fuse that will protect the vehicle from fire and also will protect the battery. It is run to the amp location where it is spit by a distro block into smaller wires to each amp. You will find fused distro blocks, where a fuse is used for each wire going out for the same reason as the fuse on the main power wire. But also there are unfused distro blocks which can be used to round up all the amp ground wires and send one fat ground wire to chassis ground.
Here is a distro block that is made to work for both power and ground collectively. This one would require that you install separate fuse holders on the 8 ga. power wires coming out of the block to the amps. 8 ga. would be sufficient for any one of the amps using just a short run.
