I found a JL audio stealth box for my vehicle that replaces the mid-gate and is still functional. This is exactly what i was wanting. My question is does this box produce a good sound? Ans does anyone know of how nuch these things cost? Thanks

they sound nice, but they are extreamly expensive. from the $250-$500 range

This is an GREAT sounding box. It has (2) of the JL dual voicecoil 12" W3 woofers. Now take a DEEP breath it retails for $1349.00. A JL dealer.

stealthboxes are the most professional way to go for factory looks and fit. if you have the money i say go for it, once installed, you'll be very happy.

They are worth it, I have a stealhbox in my 98 Grand Cherokee and it sounds amazing for one 10" powered by 125rms Rockford Mono amp. Granted they are expensive, (mine was $400 off Ebay) I love the fact it takes up no useable space in the cargo area.
