Hey guys right now i have one 12" mtx 9500 and an 801D mtx amp well i'm thinkin about redoing the system this summer with a second 12 and maybe two 1501D amps let me know what you guys think about it and i'm open to maybe different amps but subs i'm keepin the 9500's. Just so you know its going to be comp based so it will be a ported box obviously well thanks for your replies

First thing is first start upgrading your charging system now so your ready for the future. Bigger alternator, and look into a gel cell battery or optima, The I think you have a great idea for a system
I know at one of the last shows of the year I watch a trunk with (4) 1501d's and 2 12 inch 9500's hit 154db On the term lab, It was an amazing # and sounded good for the street too!

ya i was thinking about a new alt. and adding a second yellow top to what i already have going in the car its in right now. My only ? is i have never done a ported box so what kinda size would i need and just pretty much anything that goes along with a ported box really

right now its a 99 grand am but i was planing this for a gmc envoy or a chevy trail blazer type of vehicle mainly what i'm getting at is a SUV of some kind
